Pamela Anderson reveals she secretly sang vocals on Mariah Carey hit, âLoverboy.â
The Baywatch star recorded the song with Mariah after they became friends in the early 2000s, according to music producer Damion âDamizzaâ Young.
âSo I go to the studio to finish up the recording of Loverboy, and Mariah says, âPamâs coming by to do backgrounds,â he said of the 2001 song.Â
âIâm a huge Baywatch fan, so Iâm like, âPamela Andersonâs coming by?! Oh, hell yeah!â So the next thing I know, weâre poppinâ champagne, and sheâs like, âWhat do you want me to do?ââ
He then told how the now 58-year-old was a pleasure to work with.
The former Playboy model did once speak about her brief foray into music. âI did background vocals on her album,â she said while co-hosting the World Music Awards in 2014. âI was the âWhoooo!â That was me.â
Loverboy reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
