Taking to social media on , with a photo of her sitting at a white Yamaha grand piano at the 2002 American Music Awards, Britney Spears vowed she will ânever performâ in the United States again.
It was during the January 2002 ceremony that the embattled pop star performed âIâm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman,â from the movie Crossroads, and in her accompanying caption, she confirmed plans to gift the piano to one of her sons, confirming:
âSending this piano to my son this year!!!â âInterestingly enough, I dance on (Instagram) to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and itâs embarrassing sometimes⦠but I walked through the fire to save my lifeâ¦â
