As the holiday season approaches, the magic of Christmas fills the air, and with it comes the need to reconnect with the true meaning of this festive period. This year, we invite you to relive the joy and wonder of Christmas as "A Charlie Brown Christmas" streams for free on December 13th and 14th.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is a heartwarming animated television special that first aired on December 9, 1965. Based on the comic strip "Peanuts" by Charles M. Schulz, the show has since become a cherished holiday classic, delighting generations with its simple yet profound message about the true meaning of Christmas.

The story follows Charlie Brown, a lovable yet perpetually gloomy child, as he navigates the commercialism that has seemingly overtaken Christmas. Disheartened by the materialistic frenzy surrounding the holiday, Charlie Brown embarks on a quest to find the real significance of the season.

With the help of his loyal dog Snoopy, his little sister Sally, and his friends Linus, Lucy, and Schroeder, Charlie Brown learns that Christmas isn't about presents, decorations, or elaborate pageants. Instead, it's about love, peace, and goodwill toward all.

As Linus eloquently states in his memorable speech, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord...That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." It's this message of hope and love that makes "A Charlie Brown Christmas" a timeless treasure.

The 25-minute special has been acclaimed for its anti-commercialism message and its poignant reflection on the spiritual nature of the holiday. It won an Emmy and a Peabody award, and its jazz score by Vince Guaraldi has become as iconic as the show itself.

Streaming "A Charlie Brown Christmas" for free on December 13th and 14th gives families a perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy this classic holiday special. This act of generosity reflects the true spirit of Christmas and gives everyone a chance to embrace the heartfelt message of the show.

So, mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and prepare some hot cocoa. Let's jointly celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with Charlie Brown and his friends. Let's remind ourselves that beyond the glitz and glamour, it's the love and joy we share that truly make this season special.

As we watch Charlie Brown discover the true spirit of Christmas, we may also find ourselves rediscovering the holiday's essence. It's a beautiful reminder that Christmas is not about the gifts under the tree but about the love in our hearts.

Celebrate this Christmas season with "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and let its timeless message fill your home with love, joy, and peace.

There are certain Christmas traditions that instantly take us back to simpler days, and A Charlie Brown Christmas, now celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year, is one of those timeless gifts. With its soft jazz music, familiar voices, and that humble little Christmas tree, this beloved Peanuts classic has a way of wrapping our hearts in nostalgia, while quietly pointing us back to what matters most.

I remember my family and I would always be gathered in front of the TV to watch this sweet cartoon every Christmas! We wouldn't dream of missing it. And years later, Charlie Brown’s search for meaning during the Christmas season feels just as relevant today.

This year, families can once again gather to stream this treasured special through Apple TV. And for a limited time this weekend, December 13th-14th, A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available to watch for free!

Charlie Brown and Faith:

What makes this sweet little cartoon so powerful is its courage to proclaim the true meaning of Christmas! It is said that CBS was initially hesitatant over the message of faith in A Charlie Brown Christmas, but creator Charles M. Schulz, a man of deep personal faith, gently yet firmly refused to remove it, saying, “If we don’t do it, who will?” Finished at the last minute with no time for changes, the scene remained and generations have been blessed by its beautiful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas ever since.

In a season filled with decorating, baking, shopping, bright lights, and glitter, it’s easy to feel like Charlie Brown.. wondering if anyone remembers what Christmas is all about. Yet year after year, Linus steps onto that simple stage and reminds us plainly and beautifully: the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

It’s such a gentle story, yet it speaks volumes. May we all take time to remember the true meaning- that our Savior was born to save us from our sins and to give us eternal life in Him. That truth is the greatest gift of all, and it’s why A Charlie Brown Christmas will always hold a special place in all of our hearts.

How To Watch:

A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available to watch for free, no subscription required, on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14! Just open the Apple TV app or go to tv.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID (or create a new one), press play, and enjoy!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

As I’m writing this, it truly feels like I’m living inside a snow globe. We’ve had snow on the ground or falling nearly every single day in December, and today it is falling again! While I’m not sure if we’ll have a White Christmas, it has already been a wonderfully snowy month- making everything feel extra cozy and Christmassy!

Here in the Midwest, we’re currently under a Winter Storm Warning, and we could see six inches of snow or more! (the number seems to keep changing!) It’s absolutely beautiful to watch the snowfall from the warmth of indoors, but my heart goes out to anyone who has to travel in it. If you’re experiencing winter weather like this too, please stay safe, take care, and keep warm and cozy!

Merry Christmas and

Blessings to You All!!!
