• 0:55 | that we get to see Rue, like, genuinely happy about life.

• 1:03 | So, I think she goes really hard really fast,
• 1:06 | a little faster than maybe, um, Jules is prepared for.

• 1:16 | I think episode eight is really special
• 1:19 | because Rue and Jules have finally gotten to a place
• 1:23 | where they're aware of their love for each other.
• 1:26 | ZENDAYA: It's Rue's idea to run away in the first place.
• 1:29 | She wants, more than anything, to be with Jules.
• 1:31 | There's nobody on Jules's level in her eyes.
• 1:35 | I think she's just repeating and thinking about
• 1:38 | all the trauma she's already kind of caused her family.
• 1:41 | In that split moment,
• 1:43 | she just thinks about her mom and her little sister,
• 1:44 | which is, like, something that we've never really seen her do.
• 1:48 | We love them together
• 1:49 | and we want them to finally be together.
• 1:53 | And they have this moment where it's like, "Oh my gosh,
• 1:55 | they finally are in love, and they can run off together,"
• 1:59 | and then everything just comes crashing down.
• 2:00 | Even though their last moment, it didn't follow through,
• 2:05 | their love still exists.
• 2:07 | -We hope they make it. -(BOTH LAUGH)
• 2:10 | Our cast has gotten very close with each other
• 2:12 | because if they're not like literally naked in front of each other,
• 2:14 | they've had to be emotionally naked in front of each other.
