Do You Feel the Seasons Changing and God's Peace in the Storm?

Article Title: "Feeling the Seasons Change and Experiencing God's Peace in the Storm"

As the seasons change, there is a noticeable shift in the environment around us. The leaves change color in the fall, snow blankets the ground in the winter, flowers bloom in the spring, and the sun shines brightly in the summer. These seasonal changes are not just physical phenomena; they can also reflect the seasons of our lives and our spiritual journey. As we navigate through these phases, we may find ourselves in the midst of a storm, but it is in these moments that we can truly experience God's peace.

There's a unique beauty to the changing seasons that transcends the physical realm. They symbolize the cycles of life, each with its joys, challenges, and lessons. Much like our life's journey, the seasons are filled with times of growth, times of letting go, times of rest, and times of renewal.

Just as winter gives way to spring, our trials and hardships can give way to seasons of growth and renewal. These seasons of our life, while often challenging, can bring us closer to God. They can deepen our faith, refine our character, and strengthen our resolve.

But what happens when we find ourselves in the midst of a storm? When life feels turbulent, chaotic, and overwhelming? It is in these seasons of storms that we can experience the profound peace of God.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." This peace is not absence of trouble, but it's tranquility in the midst of trouble. It doesn't mean we won't endure storms, but it promises that we won't be destroyed by them. God's peace is not a fleeting emotion but a deep-seated calm that transcends human understanding.

The seasons of life, much like the physical seasons, are filled with changes. We may face storms that test our faith, shake our foundations, and push us to our limits. But amidst the turmoil, God promises His peace. This isn't a promise that the storm will pass quickly, but it is a promise that we will be sustained through it.

The changing seasons remind us of this promise. As the leaves fall and winter sets in, we are reminded that spring is coming. The flowers will bloom again, and the sun will shine brighter. In the same way, our storms will pass, and we will emerge stronger and more resilient.

Feeling the seasons change is a reminder of God's intricate design and faithfulness. Each season serves a purpose and is part of a greater plan. So too are the seasons of our lives. Even in the storm, there is purpose. And most importantly, there is peace. God's peace.

As we feel the seasons change, let us embrace the journey with hope and faith. Let us remember that no matter how fierce the storm, God's peace is available to us. It's the anchor in the storm, the calm in the chaos, and the stillness in the whirlwind. It's a peace that passes all understanding, a testament of God's unfailing love and faithfulness.

 Dear friends,

This is the last official weekend of Summer, and Autumn is literally right around the corner. As seasons change, may we reflect on the blessings we’ve enjoyed this year and look forward to new beginnings. May this new season bring peace to our hearts, joy to our days, and a renewed sense of God’s presence in every step!

On Saturday night, "Crossroad Springs" returns with a powerful new episode, "Storm on the Horizon". The title alone reminds us how storms are a part of life, yet we are never left to face them alone. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

And for a little extra comfort, I’ve also gathered this weekend’s lineup of cozy TV movie classics, including Christmas and non-holiday favorites. See below…

Also, before I end this post, I wanted to mention, as some of you likely know, the Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk, honoring his life and legacy, is this Sunday.

Charlie will be deeply missed for the way he fearlessly proclaimed and lived out his love for Jesus during his 31 years.

Like so many of you, my heart is broken over this loss. Yet even through many tears, I'm clinging to the promises of God. His Word reminds us to walk by faith and remember that in Christ, death is not the end. We grieve, but we do so with the eternal hope that belongs to every believer.

(I've included the Sinner's prayer at the end of this post if you'd like to ask Jesus into your heart today.)

Let us continue to lift up Charlie’s family, friends, and our nation in prayer. And may we hold fast to Jesus, the One who is our true comfort and our peace in the midst of every storm.

I pray this will be a true turning point for our country and the world, as hearts turn back to Christ.

The Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk airs Sunday, September 21st, at 2pm EST. on Real America's Voice, RSBN, Newsmax, Fox News, and various streaming sources.

Blessings to You All...
My Dear Friends,

Net

SHINING HIS LIGHT:

"Fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed,

for I am your God;

I will strengthen you,

I will help you,

I will uphold you

with my righteous right hand."

~Isaiah 41:10

Sinner’s Prayer:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I am truly sorry for my sins and for the ways I have turned from You. I believe that Jesus, Your Son, died for my sins and rose again, and I choose to turn from my old life and follow Him.

I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I invite Him into my heart and my life. Please fill me with Your peace, guide me in Your ways, and help me to walk in Your love each day. Thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and the gift of salvation. Amen.
